Internal Plate Washers inconspicuously supplement other
fastening methods to improve the stability of tall, heavy
or multi-unit items that are bolted to the wall or floor.
The plates screw into the back of items and reduce stress
by distributing force over a larger area, helping to prevent
items from yanking away from their lag bolts or
splintering. The different "point" kits, which feature more
or fewer fastening points, allow for as much fastening as
an item requires. Standard cabinets typically only need a
two-point kit, but larger, more top-heavy items may need
three or four points of attachment. The Hilti Kwik-Con
anchors are less intrusive than the alternative and
easier to remove. Two kits are available, for wall- or
floor-attached items. The wall kit comes with both metal
and wooden screws to best accomodate your wall.
Kit contains: (2) or (4) 2.5"x2.5"x3/16" or 3"x3"x3/16"
steel zinc-plated washers with 5/16" center holes,
concrete anchor, Hilti Kwik-Con anchor or lag/tek screws,
installation instructions.
